Small World Music Announces Online 2021 Edition of Asian Music Series
Small World Music's Asian Music Series is now in its 19th edition. Having been sidelined last year due to the pandemic, the Toronto-based event will be going online for 2021, with virtual events taking place this spring.

Events run from the second half of April through to the first half of June. These include a performance from Aditya Prakash Ensemble, Indian classical dance by Parikranti, instrumental soundscapes by Go Go Machine Orchestra, a documentary about Indo-Canadian musician Hasheel, and more.

Small World founder Alan Davis said in a statement, "It's been 19 years that we've celebrated Asian and South Asian Heritage month with Small World's Asian Music Series. This is the second year that we've tried to do it in a pandemic. With last year's program wiped out, we've been looking forward to bringing you some great virtual music this time. However, with lockdowns keeping the Small World Centre closed for two of the past three months… Well, it's been interesting, let's put it that way!"

All events will be broadcast through Small World's YouTube channel and Facebook page. See the schedule below, and head to Small World's website for more details.
