Kevin Clark — the Drummer Who Played Spazzy McGee in 'School of Rock' — Dies in Bike Accident
Kevin Clark — the child actor who played Freddy "Spazzy McGee" Jones in Jack Black's classic School of Rock — has died.

Clark was killed early this morning while riding his bicycle in Chicago. According to police, he was struck by a car and rushed to hospital, where he later died, TMZ reports. Clark was only 32.

His sister told TMZ he was riding his bike home when he was stuck by the car. The 20-year-old driver of the vehicle reportedly stayed at the scene and is cooperating with police.

School of Rock was Clark's only acting credit, and apparently he only got the role in the 2003 film because he could actually play the drums. Clark would later go on to be a professional drummer and played with artists such as Dreadwolf and Robbie Gould.

In 2018, Clark staged an impromptu School of Rock reunion with co-star Jack Black backstage during a Tenacious D concert in Chicago.
