Eminem Fans Get #RIPNickCannon Trending on Twitter After Diss Tracks
Eminem reignited an old feud with Mariah Carey last week with a guest spot on Fat Joe and Dre's song "Lord Above," and Carey's ex-husband Nick Cannon responded with a pair of diss tracks, "The Invitation" and "Pray for Him." Unfortunately for Cannon, he's getting dragged on Twitter before Em has even responded.

Cannon first dropped "The Invitation" yesterday (December 9), and it has a phoned-in-from-prison feature from Suge Knight. Then Cannon followed it up today with a second barb, "Pray for Him," today.

So far, Eminem has yet to respond with another track, just a couple of tweets.
By this morning, though, #RIPNickCannon was the top trending topic on Twitter.

Eminem fans have rushed to his defence, ridiculing Cannon's track.

It's all pretty hilarious for a beef that dates back to the early 2000s. Eminem has long insisted that he dated Carey back in 2001, a claim that she has always denied. He referenced Carey and her relationship with Cannon on the 2009 song "Bagpipes from Baghdad," which Cannon fired back at.

Carey later released "Obsessed," which many interpreted to be about Eminem. Em then responded with "The Warning."
